Two of our LVS explorers together with the coordinators visited a family run Guest House and Restaurant in Gozo. Our explorers gave some tips on how to save water to Mr Joseph Saliba, guest house manager and Mr Kevin Meylaq, restaurant manager. Both managers were eager to listen what our explorers had to say. They both agreed that they will be considering our ideas and join us in saving water with Mr Saliba confirming that he will start by placing a note in each room to remind the guests to check that taps are closed and placing water hippos in each fllushing.
Mr Meylaq was pleased to hear our suggestestions for the restaurant He will start using big bottles of softdrinks instead of the small bottled softdrinks. This way he will be saving hundreds of plastic bottles from landfill and most importantly saving 'secret water'.
